Lobo or Thanos?
Just out of curiosity
Probably Thanos, even without the infinity stones.
Lobo has a li'll bit of strength and a lot of other fun stuff (depending on the writer/universe/you-know), but not on a level comparable to the mad titan. Thanos simply has pretty much all that, but at an even higher level. Lobo wasn't designed to be weak, but neither was he designed to be over-powered. Thanos however, was designed for over-poweredness, at least in what is considered canon.
Thanos won against pretty much everyone in his Universe/Marvel Comics. Lobo is strong, but he's not take-on-everyone-else in DC-or-Marvel-Universe tier.
With the gauntlet, there would be a clear advantage of course.
Without it, the question would be if Thanos has the necessary abilities to beat someone who is both practically immortal and tireless, moreso than Thanos himself.
You forget the 3rd option. Its ok, most people do. Batman would win hands down because he has the best plot armor in both DC and Marvel Universes.
Neither of them would win, because they're fictional characters.
Except plot armor doesn't require belief, just good writing. Batman wins again.
